On the left is a picture of Stepen Ofwono with Martin Aboth in 2018, and on the right is a picture of them both in 2011 when Martin was 3 years old. He had lost both of his parents and was then being looked after by his then 82 year old grandmother Jane Nyadoi who is too frail to work. She had lost all of her own children. They lived in Tororo, east Uganda, in a house made of mud and sticks with a thatched roof which leaked when it rained. It was later demolished by a storm.
